Chris Brown is in trouble!

According to legal documents, obtained by Distractify, the "Under The Influence" hitmaker owes the IRS and the state of California over $4 million.

Last month, the government hit Chris Brown with two federal tax liens that was owed for the year of 2022. One was for $2,245,561.50 and another for $1,059,967.78. The state of California also filed a state tax lien against the singer for an additional $739,067.48. So in total he owes $4,044,596.76.

The documents indicate that his Tarzana, California home and music businesses are on the line if he does not pay up.

As previously reported by HOT 97, Chris Brown recently built an entire department store outside of his home just for his clothes. “I just built a department store outside of my house. Let me show y’all what this look like… Just so y’all see man,” the “Under The Influence” hitmaker said as he shows his followers the room full of clothes in a video posted to his Instagram Story. “It’s still more ya feel me? So all that fake capping that y’all got drip man, come see me, you heard me?”

In 2019, the father of three had a “high-end garage sale” in the front yard of his mansion. He invited thousands of fans to buy personal designer items for a "significantly marked down" price. Part of the proceeds went to a non-profit of Chris Brown's choice.
