Chris Rock’s brother, Tony Rock, says he does not approve of Will Smith’s apology for smacking his brother at the Oscars.
Following the incident and tons of backlash, Will spoke out via Instagram. The start of the statement reads, “violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally..”
Although he apologized to Chris– in a series of tweets Tony says he doesn’t accept his apology and “it’s on.”
