Coi Leray is seeing a lot of success, but sometimes that’s bound to come with hate.
The “No More Parties” rapper thanked Lil Durk for convincing her to continue making music. Coi revealed on her Instagram Story she wanted to give up her dreams, but Durk inspired her not to. In the post, she said,
“Almost gave up one day, and he [Lil Durk] told me don’t ever stop. Most artists show love from a distance on some weird shit, but this man right here believed in me, believe in No More Parties, and been behind me ever since. He knows a star when he sees one, and I just wanna thank you for all your support. OTF FOREVER.”

Lil Durk joined forces with Coi on the remix to “No More Parties,” which earned her the best-charting hit of her young career with a peak of No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, Hip Hop DX points out. It’s certified platinum. Coi’s other banger, like BIG PURR” with Pooh Shiesty, is certified gold.
Over the summer, Coi received backlash after one of her performances went viral because the crowd was dead. At the time, Coi tweeted that the love used to outweigh the hate, but now it seems like it’s the opposite. Nicki replied to her tweet and shared words of encouragement.
