Wouldn’t this be a shocking turn of events in the NFL.
Yesterday (Dec 17), we learned that Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is selling the team after a Sports Illustrated investigation showed that the owner had been acucused of sexual harassment.
Looking to take advantage of the opportunity, Diddy put out a video on Instagram saying that he would like to be the the first African-American to own a team in the NFL. He also said that he would sign Colin Kaepernick who has seemingly been blackballed from signing with another team this season due to his actions of kneeling for the National Anthem.
What if Kaepernick flips the script though? Kaepernick went on Twitter earlier today (Dec 18), to formally put his name in the hat to join the group that would eventually own the team.
Could you imagine? Only problem with that is that current league owners would have to approve that sale.
See his comments below.
I want in on the ownership group! Let’s make it happen! https://t.co/sDR4ciciY8
