This is actually insane.
On Tuesday in the Lincolnwood area of Cook County, Illinois 16-year-old Eliza Wasni ended the life of an innocent Uber driver by the name of Grant Nelson.
Wasni requested an Uber to Walmart, and reportedly stole a machete and a knife, – something that was later discovered by security cameras.
The teenager then entered Nelson’s Uber and began to stab him.
After attempting to leave the crime scene, Wasni was stopped by responding officers.
The victim and the suspect have never met before.
Grant Nelson’s sister spoke out about the horrific incident saying: “Really, truthfully, at this time, we don’t know much more information than you guys.”
Eliza Wasni has been denied bail.
