DaBaby is opening up about his musical influences.

During an interview with Billboard, DaBaby gave 50 Cent credit for inspiring him. DaBaby also said when he was getting into the music industry, he studied 50 Cent and “soaked up” the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper’s “business mind.”

“The way he came out gunning with his relentless hustle, that’s one of the people I came out watching. That’s actually somebody who I study. And as far as being versatile not only as an artist but an individual, period. Being business-minded, acting, and being versatile, I soak that up from him.”

DaBaby also mentioned that he’s interested in chopping it up with Fif. DaBaby appeared on Pop Smoke’s posthumous album, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, on “For The Night,” which was executive produced by 50 Cent, so DaBaby is moving in the right direction.
