Good news!

DaBaby won’t face any charges in the shooting on his property a few weeks ago.

As reported on TMZ, the outlet obtained legal docs, and the Iredell County D.A. says it reviewed the case and decided not to proceed with any charges. In April, a man went on DaBaby’s property uninvited, words were exchanged between the intruder and DB, and the unwanted guest was shot in the leg. Initial reports didn’t name DaBaby as the shooter; either way, it was self-defense.

The 9-1-1 call was later released. DaBaby was calm and told officers what happened as the man screamed in the background. Hip Hip DX points out that after the shooting, extra security presence was seen at the rapper’s estate and signs that read: “No Trespassing. We Have Guns and Shovels.”

With a warning like that, people shouldn’t think it’s okay to go on anyone’s property without permission.
