Jay-Z’s partnership in the NFL has drawn sharp debate among the hip hop community as people debate on whether he made the right move or not.
His former Roc-A-Fella partner Dame Dash is the latest to comment on the situation on the No Jumper podcast.
“Everyone knows Jay ain’t shit,” he says. “Listen, if you ask anyone in the industry, it’s common knowledge that Jay ain’t shit. He’s about the bag. We all know that. He’s self preserving. Period.”
He then continues.
“It’s just the people he does it to don’t have Beyoncé next to them,” he said. “They don’t have that kind of a power. This dude here, everyone’s looking. It’s not even like a secret.”

According to CBS Sports, “multiple people connected to NFL ownership and the league office have told CBS Sports that this TMZ-reported rumor is simply false, that there are no plans in place for the rap legend to become an NFL owner. “
