Ready for a Paid In Full sequel?

In an exclusive interview with The Jasmine Brand, Dame Dash gave an update on the production of the Paid In Full sequel. He produced the classic film in 2002. The movie is based on the 1980s Harlem drug dealers Azie “AZ” Faison, Rich Porter, and Alpo Martinez.

He plans on releasing a follow-up to the film. It will be a franchise. Dame said, “Basically, I already have three seasons mapped out.”

“You know, it’s a franchise.” During the interview, he also said, “Yeah, I’m casting the cars [for the project] right now and then, you know – I linked [with] the BBS Boys – they’re actually running around the world selecting the best – illest ‘Paid In Full’ mobiles.”

TJB points out that the BBS Boys is a classic car club specializing in European cars of the 80s and 90s. Dash went on to say, “We got to keep it all the way real. This time I don’t have to deal with the sh*t I had to deal with – where I had to fight for the integrity of it, I’m in control of it.” He continued,

“First is the cars – the car part of it is important. And then I’m interviewing everybody from different perspectives. When I did it the first time I did it from one perspective and also I caught a lot of heat for that.”
