JT won’t be coming home right now.

She was denied access to get out early.

Her legal team was asking if she could be moved to a halfway house but the courts said no. She’s ordered to serve the remainder of the eight months. She was scheduled to be released in March 2020 so she will be out a few months earlier than that.

JT turned herself in on June 20, 2018, for fraud charges. This was a total setback for the group, since around this time their debut project Period came out a month prior.

The rap duo started gaining a lot of success and attention and with JT behind bars, Young Miami is left to hold it down.

It’ll be a major comeback once the City Girls are back together and we’re looking forward to it!

See Young Miami ACT UP on the Hot 97 Summer Jam stage June 2nd!
