DAMN! Juice WRLD Is Being Sued For $15 Million Dollars For Copyright Infringement

Juice Wrld is in some legal trouble. The rapper was hit with a $15 million lawsuit for copyright infringement. 

Juice is being sued by the now-disbanded rock group Yellowcard, who claims that he used some “melodic elements” from their 2006 single “Holly Wood Died”, in his 2018 hit “Lucid Dreams”. 

As reported by Billboard, the group is asking for $15 million for damages and a running royalty and/or ownership share on all future exploitations related to the song. The court documents report, that the group also claims that they are owed damages from Juice WRLD’s concert tours and other public appearances. 

A member from Juice WRLD’s camp has yet to respond to this lawsuit.
