Over the weekend, Megan Thee Stallion performed on “Saturday Night Live” in where she called Kentucky’s Attorney General, Daniel Cameron, due to his decision in the Breonna Taylor case.

During her performance, the rapper played a snippet of activist Tamika Mallory’s speech where she said, “Daniel Cameron is no different than the sellout Negroes that sold our people into slavery.”

Cameron has since responded to Megan’s performance during an appearance on Fox & Friends. He said, “Let me just say I agree that we need to love and protect our Black women. There’s no question about that. But the fact that someone would get on national television and make disparaging comments about me because I’m simply trying to do my job is disgusting.”

Daniel Cameron has received a lot of backlash after his decision to not charge the three officers involved in the death of Breonna Taylor. Former Detective Brett Hankison was the only one charged with three counts of wanton endangerment. Back in March, police executed a no-knock warrant which resulted in the death of Breonna Taylor.
