It looks like Tha Carter V will finally be released this year afterall.

Lil’ Wayne and Birdman have been in the middle of a war ever since he decided to sue Birdman and Cash Money in 2015 for $51 million and his release from Cash Money Records.

The two have tried patching things up the next couple years, but nothing has brought their differences to a close or a resolution to the lawsuit.

Sunday (Mar 11), might be the first step to a resolution. Both were on hand for a party at LIV Nightclub in Miami. When the two finally crossed paths the two hugged it out.

Could this be the first step to trying to make it happen?

Martin Shkreli was sentenced to 7 years in prison and was forced to seize his copy of Weezy’s album Tha Carter V. Time will tell what happens next.
