Dark Man X is back!
The rapper is looking to get his career back on track following a recent stint in jail. He is not only reportedly working on a new album, but now it is being reported by HotNewHipHop that he will star in a brand new film!
According to reports, he is joining the cast of Chronicle of a Serial Killer, a movie which details the story of Henry Brolin, a man who targets different women who he believes will end up like his mother. The film stars Brendan Sexton, and Tara Reid.
Director Steve Stanulis spoke on his decision to choose him for the role.
“When my casting director suggested DMX it immediately resonated with me as a perfect fit,” he said. “I have no doubt he is going bring a different dynamic to the role and I’m excited to have him part of this talented cast. I’m looking forward to working with him and everyone else this summer.”
Filming is set to start in New York City in June.
DMX has starred in films such as Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, and Belly in the past.
He also showed up to Coachella for Kanye West’s Sunday Service performance over the weekend to give his own sermon/prayer to the crowd.
