Doja Cat is FED UP!

Doja is usually okay with being her silly self, but it seems as though negative comments on the Internet is getting to her.

In a series of Tweets, she said she won’t be making Tik Tok videos anymore because she doesn’t feel “comfortable.” Take a look:

“i’m not comfortable making tik toks anymore i feel like something is wrong w me. y’all got me. :/“

In another Tweet, she spoke on mean people gaslighting her and she simply can’t take it anymore.

“they’re not even being hateful they’re just unintentionally gaslighting and i’m deadass not fit to just take the joke cuz i’ve actually struggled w shit before and i have a lot of fear in me so it just adds up in the end when i read that kind of shit.”

She admitted that she puts herself in these situations but she realizes that she doesn’t want to do that anymore.

“it’s really my dumbass fault cuz i put myself out there to be made fun of anyway but it’s just reached a point for me personally so i’m done w the funny shit. y’all can make fun of my music n my performances cuz those not meant to be a joke and ill feel better about that.”

Take a look at a Tik Tok video she could be referring to, captured by the Its On-Site blog (swipe):

When Doja arrived on the music scene on full display back in 2018 after her song “Moo” went viral, we were introduced to her as someone who does hilarious things. Complex notes that maybe she wants to be taken more seriously as an artist.

Do you want to see Doja continue making the funny videos she makes or would you rather see her craft in a more serious tone?
