For the future of the culture!

Quavo is in the early stages of executive producing a cartoon for kids.

His love for animation is what inspired the idea. The Migos member will also be working alongside Brian Grazer, Imagine Entertainment co-founder, Imagine Kids+Family, and Quality Control Music.

Quavo has been interested in getting into the film world. He also recognized how much his music (including The Migos) inspires the youth, and wanted to create something dope for them.

Quality Control’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee, who is one of the producers on the project, wanted to provide content for kids in urban communities.

“When I was growing up there was very little media that had brown and black-skinned kids feeling heard or seen and the ones that did (stand) out and served as a crucial roadmap through our childhoods. I’m about inclusive stories that address all kinds of situations that kids of ALL ethnic and financial backgrounds experience and to give them a common tool to learn and grow.”

The show will be geared towards kids 8-12. It’ll be based around hip hop culture in Atlanta. There’s no release date yet, but we’ll keep you updated!
