Leave it to the hometown boy to his annual OVO Fest more memorable than the last.
Drake’s Toronto festival brought out members of his OVO label as well a slew of other artists like PARTYNEXTDOOR, Cardi B, Nelly and his fellow 6 friend The Weeknd.
But the moment that everyone is talking about is when he and Tory Lanez squashed their beef on stage! The two artists have had issues over the years over representing their hometown and who’s better than the other.
All that ended when Drizzy introduced Tory Lanez to the stage before they both performed “Controlla” saying, “See this man here? We had problems with each other. We had never even met each other. I met the man, and he’s a great dude.”
Now if that wasn’t enough, Drake also makes a huge announcement … he’s working on another album due out next year. His last LP, More Life, topped the Billboard 200 charts selling 505,000 albums and broke Apple Music’s streaming records at a monster 89.9 million streams on the day of it’s release.
