Drake is the latest celebrity to speak out on the killing of unarmed George Floyd at the hands of four Minneapolis police.
In Drake’s Instagram story, he wrote a message about all of the ex-cops involved in the fatal arrest of Floyd. Drake is anticipating all of the officers getting charged. Also, Drizzy challenges people in power to do the right thing. He also called this time a pivotal moment in history!
At the end of his statement, Drake says he’s nervous about the outcome. In what seems to progress, all four officers involved in George Floyd’s case have been fired. In the latest update, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has increased Derek Chauvin’s charges to 2nd-degree murder and the other three officers have been charged. This is major progress but more has to be done for true justice to be achieved.
