Draya Michele is realizing that not everything has to be a joke, especially a serious situation.

The model/entrepreneur/reality TV star caught heat after she gave her prediction as to what happened the night Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion. During an interview, Draya said that the two had a “Bobby and Whitney” type of romance.

“I predict that they had some sort of Bobby & Whitney love that drove them down this type of road. I’m here for it. I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too.”

Hot girl Meg seemingly caught wind of Draya’s disturbing statement and replied online.

Draya apologized shortly after via Twitter. In a Tweet Draya said,

“I truly don’t glorify domestic violence… I was trying to say just love me deeply. But while trying to be funny, I offended many, including meg. And I’m sorry.”

Today (July 23), Draya posted another apology via her Instagram story. In the lengthy post she addresses victims of domestic violence and abuse in general. She admitted that she was wrong and she regrets it. She also said it’s always her “intention” to uplift women, especially black women. Take a look:
