Eric Reid recently signed to Carolina Panthers on September 27th, 2018.
During Sundays game against the New York Giants, Reid took a knee during the national anthem.
Eric made headlines as he was kneeling alongside Colin Kaepernick.
This game is Reid’s first game during his return to the NFL. Reid was the only one to kneel during the National Anthem during this game against the Giants.
During an interview, Reid stated he was “still considering” protesting, but he said he’s certain that he continue to “talk about it” and “hold America to the standard that is says on paper.”
Colin Kaepernick takes to twitter to show his support for Eric Reid.
My Brother @E_Reid35, with @KSTiLLS and @iThinkIsee12, continue to take a knee against systemic oppression. They are unwavering in their conviction! #ImWithReid pic.twitter.com/NP7h6aQHUH
