Erica Mena is sending a special message to women.
On an episode of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, Erica reacted to a promo video for the show. In the video, the cast members discussed Safaree, who is currently going through a divorce with Erica, bringing another woman around.
In the clip, Erica talks about how her marriage with Safaree is falling apart and wants him to step him financially. Erica also mentioned that she “watched” Safaree “cry in court” to a judge because he makes less money than her and doesn’t want to pay child support. Erica also said Safaree is trying to convince a judge to split custody of their children and possibly receive child support.
TNT blog shared the L&HH video, and Erica wrote a message urging women to prioritize their mental health. Erica wrote, “damn look how skinny I look. Postpartum and a broken heart is no joke. Protect your peace my Queens, so important. Take a look:
Erica and Safaree tied the knot in 2019. Erica filed for divorce last year after accusing him of infidelity. The divorce was finalized in September. Safaree was ordered to pay $4,305 a month in child support. They have two children together, a daughter Safire and a son Legend and will share joint custody. Hopefully, they can work everything out peacefully and focus on co-parenting. Wish them the best.
