Dreamville’s very own Bas is releasing his third studio album, Milky Way, tonight. The project is his first release since 2016’s Too High To Riot, which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s US Rap Albums chart. The Queens rapper dropped a slew of singles and visuals this year in preparation for the big release, including assists from rappers like A$AP Ferg and his Dreamville brother, J. Cole. Here’s a quick recap of everything we have so far from Bas for the new album:

“Tribe” featuring J. Cole

Last night, Bas unloaded his gem with J. Cole titled “Tribe.” The music video takes place in Little Haiti and the track features Childish Major and J. Cole behind the boards for the production.

Bas is one of the earliest signees under J. Cole and Ib’s Dreamville Records label, and the two have serveral well-loved hits under their belt already, including “Lit,” “Night Job,” and “My N***a Just Made Bail.”

“Boca Raton” featuring A$AP Ferg

Bas linked up with fellow NYC spitter, A$AP Ferg, for a Florida-inspired single off of Milky Way. He released the song and lyric video for “Boca Raton” in June after hinting at the collab for months on social media.

“Pinball” featuring Correy C.

The first official release from Milky Way came back in April with “Pinball.” The Correy C.-assisted track also came paired with a music video. The song is produced by Dreamville’s in-house producer, Cedric Brown.

Milky Way is confirmed to have 12 songs and 2 interludes. Bas also shared that the entire project is mixed by TDE engineer Ali. He’s been steadily teasing the project since last summer.
