Now that artists are being hurt financially due to the new restrictions in regards to the global pandemic Covid-19, Facebook is switching up the rules to potentially get them PAID.
According to reports, an upcoming feature for Facebook is to allow artists to charge for access to their livestreams as well as a donate button that can be used to raise money towards non-profit organizations and more.
Facebook made a statement that reads: “To support creators and small businesses, we plan to add the ability for Pages to charge for access to events with Live videos on Facebook – anything from online performances to classes to professional conferences,”
