There has been a major break in PnB Rock’s murder investigation.
According to reports, the LAPD arrested the third suspect. XXL reports the man who allegedly drove the getaway car, Freddie Lee Trone was apprehended in Las Vegas with the help of the FBI Las Vegas Division, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and Henderson Police Department.
Trone is facing charges of murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and two counts of second-degree robbery. He’s currently awaiting extradition to Los Angeles.
Earlier this week, Trone’s 17-year-old son was arrested in connection. He’s facing a first-degree murder charge. Police believe the son was the shooter. A woman who was with the duo, was also arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to murder.
PnB Rock was murdered at a Los Angeles Roscoes Chicken and Waffles on September 12. According to the police, the trio is responsible and they were waiting for PnB Rock in the parking lot of the restaurant.
The theory that the death was connected to a social media post or PnB Rock’s girlfriend is ruled out. PnB Rock was laid to rest last week.
PnB Rock’s legacy will live on. Our hearts continue to be with his family, friends, and fans.
