Could Floyd Mayweather be looking at facing yet another MMA fighter in the ring?

Here’s what we know. Mayweather is definitely looking at getting back into fighting one way or another. The opponent is a different story.

In the past month we have seen Floyd challenge Manny Pacquiao to a rematch of their disappointing super fight back in 2015, rumors about a fight about four years too late with Adrien Broner, and even an MMA rematch with Conor McGregor.

Following Khabib Nurmagomedov’s defeat of McGregor earlier this month, he met up with Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe to challenge Mayweather.

“Hey, let’s go Floyd. We have to fight now. 50-0 vs 27-0. Two guys, never lose,” he said.

Mayweather replied by telling Showtime, CBS, and MGM Grand to “get the checkbook out.”

Recently, 50 Cent tried to find a way to bring Khabib to Bellator with a public $2 million offer, but was denied as the offer was deemed offensive by his manager.
