This brand new footage could change the conversation just a bit.
Floyd Mayweather is set to face off against Conor McGregor August 26 in the later’s first boxing match in his career. The fight could give Mayweather a record of 50-0. Many analysts and fans believe that there is no chance of McGregor doing what no boxer has ever done, beat Mayweather. New video might add to the conversation.
Weeks ago it was reported that McGregor had knocked out boxer Paulie Malignaggi who is a former junior welterweight and welterweight champion. Today (Aug 12), that footage was just released that allegedly show the boxer knocked out in a sparring session with the UFC superstar.
McGregor gave his thoughts about the session.
“He tried his best, but he got his ass whupped,” McGregor said. “Tell me how his face looked. Tell me how his temple looked. He was badly, badly concussed after those rounds. Badly rattled. He was flattened and knocked down. The ropes kept him up multiple times.”
Malignaggi responded by challenging his team to release the full footage of the sparring session.
