Funk Flex to Serve as Creative Program Director for HOT 97
Today, Pio Ferro, SVP of Programming at HOT 97 announced the appointment of legendary DJ, Funk Flex to the new position of Creative Program Director.
Funk Flex has been the driver of HOT 97’s new music Thursday success. In addition, he has worked with DJ Enuff to create a new platform on Mondays called, New York vs. The World, which features new music from all over the globe.
“Flex is not only what New York sounds like, he’s what Hip-Hop feels like. His natural strategic instinct will elevate our efforts in 2023 and beyond”, said Ferro.
In his new role, Funk Flex will be responsible for driving new initiatives for on-air programming and digital content. He previously served as Digital Content Specialist for hot97.com.
