Future has decided to give back to students going to college this fall.

The Atlanta rapper wants to help alleviate the financial burden on college freshman and their families. On Wednesday, July 8th, he announced that he has launched the “I’m Still A Dreamer” scholarship through his foundation, FreeWishes.

In a press statement, Future stated, “You don’t have to be in the perfect situation or come from the perfect background to reach for your dreams”, he continued. “Despite this COVID-19 pandemic, I encourage all dreamers to continue to big.”

In order to apply for this scholarship, high school graduates must submit a personal video explaining how the coronavirus has affected their lives. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.00 GPA, live in the state of Georgia, and must be currently enrolled in an accredited college for the fall 2020 semester.

The maximum scholarship award is $2,500. Submissions are due by July 27th at 3 p.m. and the winners will be announced on August 4th.
