So the second to last episode of the 3rd season of Insecure opened with Issa waking up and realizing it’s been an entire week since she spoke to her new love interest Nathan. Even after telling herself that she will solely focus on her block party instead of what may be a f*ckboy, she still finds herself hoping it’s him anytime she gets a notification on her phone.

“I don’t care, I don’t give a f*ck, I’m not pressed, I don’t give a fuck,” is her shower jingle that we’ve ALL sung to ourselves at one point or another, but even still, throughout the entire episode we saw Issa constantly checking Nathan’s Instagram. She pretty much worries herself to death about the lack of communication with her Ferris wheel fling partner.

Do YOU Become Obsessed With Your New Flame?

Although obsessed may not always be the right word, Issa did a great job of highlighting how real it can get after sharing a few intimate moments with someone and then not hearing from them. It’s hard not to blame yourself for the ‘ghosting,’ because one would think if the other party enjoyed the experience as much as you did, communication wouldn’t be an issue, but sometimes it’s just not that simple.

Here are five things Issa did in episode 7 that we’ve ALL done when we have been seemingly ghosted.

1. Constantly thinking it’s that person every time your phone rings.

Any notification and you’re like, is that him?!
