Gov. Cuomo Announced New York Regions WILL Reopen Beaches For Memorial Day Weekend

As the weather warms up, some people are wondering how COVID-19 will impact the upcoming months. During New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s daily briefing today (May 15), he announced that the regions (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware), have reached a joint agreement on beaches. “State beaches will open Friday of Memorial Day weekend with strict precautions.Beaches will be at 50% capacity & masks will be required when social distance not possible. He added that if local governments don’t abide by the rules, the beaches will close again.
