Harvey Weinstein is about to get his day in court.
The former producer faced a judge today after requesting that his sexual assault charges be dismissed. Instead the judge ruled that the case will continue, and pre-trial proceedings will begin on March 7.
It’s a case that sparked the #MeToo movement after publicly turning himself in back in May and charged with rape, a criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct for incidents involving 2 separate women.
If found guilty he could be sentenced to life in prison.
