What do you have planned for your four day weekend?

As the 4th of July slowly approaches, we know you’re gearing up for the turn up. Whether you decide to relax at home, go to a club or check out some fireworks- we got you covered with all the dopest spots in the city. While you’re enjoying the holiday, don’t forget to check out Hot 97’s 97 hour Fourth of July mix weekend!

Fireworks

What’s a Fourth of July celebration without fireworks? If you’re in New York City, you can check out the Macy’s annual fireworks extravaganza. The event starts at 9:20 P.M. The fireworks will stretch through four barges stationed along the East River between Broad Street and the Brooklyn Bridge.

If you prefer to stay home, you can watch the huge festival on NBC, which will include performances by Luke Bryan, Ciara, Derek Hough, Khalid, Maren Morris, and Brad Paisley.

The firework extravaganza will be super crowded, and if crowds aren’t your thing- you may want to do something a little more light. Like partying with J. Cole? Yup! J. Cole is having his own 4th of July day party! The party will be held at the Brooklyn Mirage. Turn up with Cole before the Dreamville album drops on July 5th.

If you’re like me- you may want to avoid the mayhem altogether and just grab a drink an a bit to eat. Some of our favorite restaurants will be open on the 4th, including Red Lobsters, Fridays, Olive Garden, Chili’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, P.F. Chang’s and many more.
