The former president of the United States has a plan for the Presidential Library Center on the South Side of Chicago.
In his second public appearance in a LONG TIME, Barack Obama told the crowd that he and Michelle Obama are donating 2 million dollars to summer job programs at the Presidential center.
Not only do the Obamas want this to be a monumental place, he wants it to be a living institution to help mold leaders of tomorrow.
“It’s not just a building, it’s not just a park, but hopefully this ends up being a hub that all of us can see a brighter future for the South Side,” said Barack Obama.
