Things are about to very interesting in the world of boxing.

As of right now, some of the biggest headlines in boxing has come down to a retired fighter and a fighter in mixed martial arts.

Floyd Mayweather JR. was a guest on ESPN’s First Take this morning, and things got very interesting as hosts Stephen A. Smith, and Max Kellerman began talking boxing with the undefeated fighter.

UFC fighter Conor McGregor has been challenging Mayweather in recent months. A comfortable Mayweather made some big news about it.

“We tried to make the Conor McGregor fight,” he said. “They know what my number is. It’s a guaranteed 100 million.”

He also explained that he is willing to double his money in a fight.

“Dana White, the UFC, let’s make it happen,” he said. “Bring him over to the boxing world and I’ll show him what its like. Easy!”

Mayweather also addressed the status of the Soulja Boy and Chris Brown fight.

“Is the fight gonna happen? We’re working on it. It’s a lot of work.”

Other than the possibility of McGregor it doesn’t seem like there is another fight that will take out him out of the comfortable role of retirement.
