Hip-Hop Take Over! These Artist Rank High On ‘Forbes’ Highest-Paid Entertainers

That time of year is here! Forbes released its “Highest Paid Entertainer” list and it has got everyone talking.   

This year, some of our favorite hip-hop artist made the top ten- which is different from last year. For starters, Kanye West was named number 3 of the list which $150 million. The last time he made the list was 4 years ago, you go Kanye!  

Hip-hop’s favorite couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z tied this year landing at number 20 on the list with $81 million apiece. Drake hit a huge jump this year, as last year he was number 58th on the list. This year the “Gods Plan” rapper lands at number 25 on the list with $75 million. P. Diddy claimed the 28th spot, and Rihanna also made a jump from last year. She went from number 84 to 36.

Did you take your trip to AstroWorld this year? Well, Travis Scott is riding his roller coaster all the way to the number 39 this year. Detroit rapper Eminem is still going strong at number 57. DJ Khaled and The Weeknd tie at number 87 with $40 million. Not too far behind, Kendrick Lamar makes his presence at number 95 with $38.5 million.
