Hip Hop Today And The Art Of Bad Behavior [OPINION]

According to some Hip Hop heads there are a lot of rappers, particularly from the newer generation of rap, who in the eyes of the critics do not deserve success. The media and social media have brought light to the distasteful violations of the law committed by a lot of these artists and this very instance creates a ton of controversy.

Does social media allow us too much access into some of our favorite rappers personal lives? Ultimately, a fans relationship with any rapper should solely be about the music, not how they live their lives or the past crimes they committed. Overall, older generations probably are just bothered by the fact that some of these artist themselves are still teenagers and thus influence their fan base, who are also extremely young.

Here are five fairly new artists who have struggled with the law in one-way or another; nonetheless, their music continues to flourish!
