Hurricane Chris is home after being released from jail after being arrested on second-degree murder charges.
We previous reported, that the 31-year- old rapper stated that he acted in self-defense after the victim attempted to steal his car. After the police reviewed the security footage of the encounter, they ruled that the shooting was not in self-defense and arrested Chris. “Subject opened fire upon the victim striking him several times. The subject was found to be in illegal possession of stolen things”, the probable cause statement says.
The unidentified victim died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital. Chris was released on a $500K bond.
