Ice Cube is shutting down claims that there’s a “Friday” prequel on the way.
A Twitter user by the username @OhThatMarco, tweeted a false claim that immediately went viral. He tweeted, “A ‘Friday’ prequel is in the works for HBO max. Comedian druski and rapper Vince Staples are attached the lead roles..”
Ice Cube caught wind of the tweet and immediately shut that down. He replied to the tweet, “this is blasphemy.” Take a look below.
