Idris Elba’s wife, Sabrina, has also tested positive for COVID-19.
We recently reported that Idris took to his social media to let fans know that although he showed no symptoms, his test results came back positive. Idris expressed that he was in contact with someone who tested positive and that’s what prompted his test. He also warned fans to stay safe and stay strong during this time.
Sabrina spoke to Oprah Winfrey regarding her test results.
“I’ve been tested — actually, I found out this morning, Oprah, that I tested positive,” Sabrina Dhowre told Oprah Winfrey Saturday morning. “I wanted to be with him. That’s the instinct of a wife. You want to go and take care.” She continued, “I could have made a decision to maybe put myself in a separate room or stay away and I’m sure that people are making those tough decisions. But I made the decision to want to be with him … and still touch him,” she said.
