The actress was spotted in New York City, leaving the Apollo in Harlem. In the viral clip, even though Megan kept the fit calm with leggings, thigh-high boots, and a t-shirt, she’s still some pressure! Take a look:
Atlanta Black Star reports Meagan said she’s “done apologizing” and plans to live her life more authentically. She only wants approval from God and herself.
At the 2023 Dark & Lovely “Making Bold Moves” event, Meagan said, “I’m always gonna do what I’m gonna do as long as it’s right between me and the Lord.” Then she spoke on why she wants to be more unapologetic, she said,
“But I would do it kind of a little apologetically because I didn’t want to offend people. ‘Cause I didn’t know how I would be received or all those things.” She followed up with,
“I think that I’ve just come into a season personally, professionally, in every way, where I’m just done apologizing, and I know that my tribe people are my tribe people, and they’re always gonna look out, and cover, and love, and believe the best in me, and give the benefit of the doubt.”
After nine years of marriage, Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin quietly called it quits in August 2021. The Harlem actress, 40, and the preacher, 43, tied the knot in 2012, after they met on the set of the movie Jumping the Broom in 2011.
At the time of the split, they announced a lengthy joint statement: “We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault; we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
In the most recent, DeVon is one of the “experts” on the show, Married At First Sight. Meagan, is gearing up for the release of season 2 of Amazon Prime’s Harlem series, premiering February 3.
