An old verse of Eminem’s was leaked and it’s raising some eyebrows.
According to a source, the title of the snippet is called “Things Get Worse (Rihanna Diss).” In one of the lines, Em seemingly condones Chris Brown being violent toward Rihanna. The reference is from Breezy’s 2009 domestic violence case.
“Of course I side with Chris Brown, I’d beat a bitch down too,” he raps.
The origin of the leak is unclear. A report notes that the verse was scrapped from Em’s 2009 album Relapse. That verse didn’t make the cut but in 2011, Em rapper a similar verse but without saying Riri or Chris’s name.
Em’s verse practically dissing Rihana is strange since the two worked closely in the past. In 2010 the released their chart-topping hit, “Love The Way You Lie,” 2012’s “Numb” and 2013’s “The Monster.” In 2014 Rihanna and Em went on tour together.
Neither Eminem, Rihanna, or Chris Brown have spoken out about the leaked verse. Take a listen:
