Jordyn Woods spoke on a panel during Nigeria’s Homecoming Festival, and opened up about the Tristan Thompson debacle and the backlash she received from it.

 

Woods admitted that she felt ‘bullied by the world,’ and had to use this as a learning experience for her younger sister who was bullied in school.

 

“I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman in just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand that extent until you have to live it.” – Jordyn Woods

 

The part that threw social media critics off, was when Woods explained that this is the first time she understood what it’s like to be a Black woman in society….
