According to a report, the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer is gearing up for his indictment in Brooklyn for bribing a government official to allow him to marry Aaliyah, then 15, and he was 27.
The disgraced R&B’s singer ex-tour manager, Demetrius Smith admitted to helping get the false documents to carry out the illegal marriage. He hopes the singer gets help instead of jail time.
R. Kelly has several cases in various states for cases child pornography, kidnapping, moving girls across state lines for sex, forced labor, and engaging in prostitution with a minor. His video court date is set to take place Dec. 18th in Brooklyn.
