On September 14th, Hurricane Florence devastated North Carolina with its extreme rainfall, flooded rivers and massive power outages. Rapper J. Cole’s organization, the Dreamville Foundation is providing assistance to those in need through a hurricane relief fund.

As we know, Cole is originally from North Carolina so it was only right.

The orgainzation was founded in 2011, with hopes of providing the urban tools they need to become successful.

The funds statement reads:

“The Dreamville Foundation is looking to lend a helping hand to the  community, children, and families affected by Hurricane Florence. There will be hot food stations placed throughout the city, temporary housing options for families, and stocking of food pantries/shelters, as well as supporting other local non profits who help provide services for the people in Fayetteville.”

Job well done, Cole!
