It looks like Ja Rule and Billy McFarland are about to get in even more trouble over their complete failure of a festival the Fyre Fest.
According to TMZ, EHL Funding – an investment company – filed a lawsuit over $3 million that was never paid back.
The report says that the case was won by default because neither party answered to the lawsuit. Earlier this year, both Hulu and Netflix both released documentaries that showed how big of a failure the Fyre Fest really was.
McFarland, who organized the event, is currently serving a 6-year prison sentence for wire fraud.
There has been no word on either party as of this time.
