Jaden Smith will be playing an “alternate reality” version of Kanye West in a new Showtime series titled “Omniverse.”
Written by Lee Sung Jin, this series will take on the ideology of perception, and according to Deadline, the upcoming show’s first season will explore the ‘ego’ and that is where Kanye West comes into play.
“Omniverse is not set in our world nor about our world’s Kanye West as we aim to add a new spin on alternate realities, consciousness, and push the limits of half hour narrative.” – Lee
