Jam Master Jay’s Family Speaks Out Following 2 Men Being Indicted For His Murder

Rest in peace, Jam Master Jay.

Yesterday we reported that law enforcement sources confirm Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan, Jr., who are both longtime suspects in the murder of hip-hop pioneer have been detained. The two men were indicted on charges of murder while engaged in drug trafficking

Washington, 56, is already serving a federal prison for robbery, while Jordan, 36, was arrested on Sunday, according to reports.

Following the reports, Jam Master Jay’s family issued a statement thanking fans for their support, but also speaking on the indictment. “Upon hearing this news we have mixed emotions; we truly hope that these indictments are a solid step towards justice being served in the murder of Jay.”
