Jamie Foxx, 54, was turned away by security when he pulled up to Cardi B's birthday party.
On Tuesday (Oct. 11) night, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker celebrated her 30th birthday with a Burlesque-themed party at Poppy nightclub in Los Angeles, California. Stars like Offset, GloRilla, Karruche Tran, Tiffany Haddish, Chance The Rapper, Tyga, Wale, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, DDG, O.T. Genasis, Coco Jones, Daysulan, and more were in attendance.
According to TMZ, the actor was turned away because he had too many guests with him. Apparently he arrived with 10 people and they didn't have a section available for him.
In a viral clip, you can see Foxx making his way back to his white Rolls Royce after standing at the front door for a few minutes. The paparazzi asked the Oscar winner why was he rejected at the door and that was when the doorman, who quickly realized the mistake, came running after Foxx to let him know that is was okay for him to enter the party. Foxx was not having it. "No, we not good. Nah ni**a, it's all good! I don't give a f**k. I love you, but it was too much," Foxx told the doorman.
On Twitter, Nuffsaidny wrote, "Cardi B gotta fire them people, how [the f**k] you don’t know who Jamie Foxx is?
"That didn't add up, how could hilarious Jamie of all people be denied entry to Cardi B's B-party?" said another Twitter user.
According to reports, sources are saying that Cardi B had no idea what was going on at the front as she was enjoying her party. The Bronx rapper arrived with her husband Offset in a red bodysuit and dramatic headpiece. Cardi B is known for having over-the-top birthday parties. Last year for her 29th birthday, she had a dancehall-themed bash.
