A new documentary is potentially underway!

As reported on The Jasmine Brand, fans could get a closer glimpse of Janet Jackson’s “nipple gate” incident at the 2004 Super Bowl. A documentary is reportedly in the works. It’ll revolve around Janet’s wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance with Justin Timberlake. At the end of the performance, they shocked the crowd as Justin ripped a pasty exposing one of Janet’s breasts on National television as he sang, “I’ll have you naked by the end of this song.”

Following the incident, Janet received negative backlash while Justin didn’t get as mischief criticism. Earlier this year, Justin apologized to Janet. He said,

“I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually because I care for and respect these women, and I know I failed. I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and, most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be a part of and grow from.”

The upcoming project comes from Left/Right TV. They’re the same production company that brought fans the unauthorized documentary Framing Britney Spears.
