Parlux perfume brand is taking legal action against Sean Carter.

As reported on The Jasmine Brand, Parlux claims Jay-Z received $2 million in royalties which required six promotional appearances. The publication says Hov failed to appear.

Now Jay is speaking out and shares what Parlux did wrong. For starters, Roc Nation founder believes the company is “lazy.” In a court document, Jay-Z said, “I’ve always had problems with the quality of lazy work that was coming from Parlux.” Hov went on to say he wasn’t satisfied with a commercial that had his name on it. He said,

“It’s a B-rate commercial, and my name is on it,” referring to the commercial for the Gold scent. Jay went on to say,

“It was a tough relationship, but I was still trying to make something great.”

In other news, Hov is on IG!
